With our state-of-the-art CRM system, we can also help cast for featured extras eliminating the arduous audition process for you. You don’t need to worry about payrolling all the extras as we will take that time-consuming process off your hands and do it for you.

Getting A Booking!

What happens when I receive an availability check?

Once we have been given the details by Production of exactly what their requirements are we will select the extras most suited to that role. Before we send anything to Production we need to check with you that you are available on the dates required. This is known as an availability check. This does not mean you are booked. Once we have sent over all the extras that match Productions criteria, they will decide who suits the role best. At that stage we will be in touch to confirm you are booked for that day or days.

I’ve received an availability check but am unavailable. Will I be ruled out for future roles?

Absolutely not!! In fact, it will have the very opposite effect. We need people to be honest with us. It is much better for everyone if you say no at the very beginning rather than pulling out closer to the shoot day. Saying yes and then cancelling causes lots of different departments including ourselves a huge headache.

I’ve been booked on a Production and I have a question. Whom should I contact?

When will I receive the information about the Production I have been booked on?

A lot can change very quickly when it comes to a film schedule. Weather being a big reason things need to be changed around at the last minute. We will usually only send you the information to a production you are booked on the afternoon/early evening of the day before. Please make sure you check your emails and particularly your spam folder in case the email is in there.

My availability has changed since saying yes to a Production. What will I do?

Please, please, please let us know as soon as possible that you are no longer available. We do understand that things can happen that could change your availability. The sooner we know the sooner we can start working on getting you replaced, saving all our reputations.

What can I expect when I am on my first day?

You should have received a copy of “the extras guidebook”. This covers all you need to know before your big day and during your day of filming. If after you’ve gone through the guidebook, and you still have a query please drops us a mail to info@stormextras.ie.
